What happened to my blog? I think I lost everything :-(

I just found out that the commenting program I was using has officially crashed and I've lost all the comments from the past year :-( At least I read them recently but still...the memories blogged will not be the same without the comments. I am currently trying to get another commenting system up and running but since I am not so blogger-literate I am having some problems. Hopefully soon!

Only 3 more work days till I go to OH!! I am SO excited!! The past 2 days at work were crazy...7 couplets per nurse/corpsman...I just don't know if I can handle that many patients! I feel like my nursing care definitely suffers when I am trying to keep track of that many patients. And I find it so hard to remember what's going on with what patient. Unsafe? Yeah, think it is or at least borders on it! I thought I had pretty good time management skills but I was stretched this past week. Glad for a long 3-day weekend and then my 8 day leave starting a week from today! And when I get back I'll be working nights again...yay!!

Praise the Lord!! I passed my physical readiness test (PRT) today... 76 sit-ups, 42 push-ups and 450m swim in 9:43! Ok, so those scores aren't amazing or anything but it's an improvement for me and it means I passed!! Yay!! 6 months until I have to do it again...time to go eat some chocolate!(right molly?) :-)

Ohio here I come!!! They gave me leave May 13-20 so now I can go to Rachel Bender's wedding on my birthday and then spend some wonderful days in Dayton celebrating 2 special birthdays and go to a Michael W. Smith concert!! Woohoo!! I am SO excited to have that many days off and to get out of here for awhile.

Though on the other hand I did have a great day at the beach yesterday. I guess there are some advantages to living on the coast. If you ever want to spend a few days at the beach let me know and you can crash here! I would love an excuse to go to the beach...ok, I think I'll just skip the excuse and go whenever I am not working! :-)

I found out today that the local high school next door to us is the Churchland Truckers....truckers? what kinda of name is that? I wonder if their mascot is a truck or a fat, old trucker. hmm...I'll have to go to a game sometime.

Props to this guy...but I still don't know if I'd want him as my doctor Can an acute sense of touch really totally replace being able to see patients?

UNC won the NCAA championship last night. I didn't do so well on my bracket this year...that was disappointing as was the fact that the Big Ten (Illinois) wasn't able to pull out the victory last night. There's always next year! :-)

Sunday night was my last night shift for awhile. I start days tomorrow. :-/ Wasn't I feeling the same way 6 weeks ago when I was switching to nights? :-)

Been working nights which I love but going back to days again :-(

And since my life is so boring check out my siblings blogs...they have much more interesting lives than I do!

oh, if you could, remember my unit in your prayers because one of our corpsmen died unexpectedly last weekend and it's been a big shock to the unit. I didn't know her too well but had worked with her while on days. We had a memorial service for her today and I believe the funeral is this weekend in Savannah, GA.

And congratulations to Rachel Solsky on her recent engagement!
